However far she's drifted, you can still show up.
- Distant
- Sleeping apart
- Moved out
- She's said it's over
Thaw is a private app for men whose wife or girlfriend has pulled away, wherever things stand. Tell it what happened, and get a straight read on what it means and what to do next, with no pressure on her.
Counselling needs her in the room. Thaw starts without her.
For iPhone and Android. Whether you're under the same roof or living apart. She doesn't need to sign up or do anything.

69%
of divorces are started by the wife. Married women also report being less happy in their marriages than their husbands do.
If you're feeling the distance, you're not imagining it. And you're not the only one.

Sound familiar?
- She's polite, but somewhere else.
- She goes to bed before you, most nights.
- She's stopped asking about your day.
- Arguments have turned into silence.
- When something good happens, you don't know if it means anything.
- She's moved out, and you don't know where you stand.
- She's said it's over, and you're not ready to believe it.
Two ways to rebuild it. Only one starts without her.
Counselling is genuinely good, and if she'll go, go. But it needs her in the room, on a day you both agree, at a price per session. Thaw needs nobody but you.
Thaw isn't therapy, and it isn't a replacement for it. It's what you can do in the meantime, or when she isn't ready.
Her guard is up. Here's how it comes down.
When someone has felt unheard for long enough, they stop opening up and start protecting themselves. Short replies. Early nights. Polite, but far away.
It usually isn't that she's stopped caring. It's that being close to you has started to feel risky. You can't argue her out of that, and you can't rush it.
What works is making home feel safe enough that the guard isn't needed. Thaw gives you ten minutes a day to do exactly that, starting tonight.
- Settle yourself first
- Five minutes of real attention
- One piece of warmth that asks for nothing back
No chasing, no tactics, nothing she has to agree to. Nothing you'd need to hide from her.

Built for men, from the first question.
Thaw doesn't ask about "your partner". It asks about her: your wife or girlfriend, where things really stand, and what you want back.
Still together but distant, sleeping in separate rooms, living apart, or she's said it's over. Choose everything that's true, and every piece of advice fits your situation.
The key is no pressure.
Pressure is anything that asks her for something before she's ready: a big talk, reassurance, affection, or credit for trying.
It confirms what she already fears, that being close to you comes with demands. What changes things is warmth she can take or leave, at her own pace, shown again and again.
Thaw checks everything you're planning for pressure, and helps you find the version without it.
Separated isn't the same as over.
Even if she's moved out, it's not necessarily too late. What you do now still counts.
How you handle the kids. How you reply to her message. Whether you're calm and reliable, or anxious and pushing. Thaw helps you get those moments right, one at a time.
And if she's asked for space or no contact, Thaw will help you respect it, and use that time to become someone she'd want to come back to.
It doesn't get fixed in one big talk. It thaws, a moment at a time.
- 01
Tell it what happened
A cold reply. A hand on your back. A night she went to bed early. Log it in your own words, in seconds.
"Sarah started a cuddle on the sofa. First time in weeks. I didn’t say anything, just held her."
- 02
Get a straight read
Thaw tells you what a moment could mean, without false hope, and gives you one or two small, practical things to do next. No jargon, no lectures.
- 03
It learns your relationship
Every check-in sharpens Thaw's picture: what lands with her, what tends to go cold, and whether things are moving. You can see exactly what it's learned.

What Thaw won't do
Promise to save your relationship
Nobody honest can. Thaw helps you do your part as well as you can.
Take your side against her
It only hears your side, and says so. It won't label her or diagnose her.
Help you chase her
No turning up unannounced, no message storms. If she's asked for space, Thaw helps you respect it.
Coach you through something unsafe
If there's fear, control or violence at home, it points you to people who can help.
THAW PLUS
Know what to say back.
Her messages are small chances to reconnect, and not every one needs an answer. Paste what she sent, and Thaw tells you whether it needs a reply, what she might be saying underneath it, and how to answer so she feels heard, without overdoing it. Or check your own message before it goes.
Plus also unlocks three programmes, five short sessions each: Being Wanted Again, The Repair Conversation, and After She Moved Out.
Still no tactics. Nothing you'd need to hide from her.

Simple pricing. No couples plan needed.

Questions
Will my wife know I'm using it?+
Not unless you tell her. Thaw is locked with a PIN or Face ID, and notifications never mention her. Some men do tell their wife later, once things feel easier. That's your call.
Is this therapy?+
No. Thaw is a private coach for everyday moments: what just happened, what it might mean, and what to try next. If things are serious, it will suggest talking to a counsellor, and that can help even if you go alone.
What if she's already said she wants a divorce?+
Thaw can help you respond calmly and stop making things worse, but it can't make her decision for her. It will be honest with you about where things stand, not tell you what you want to hear.
She's already moved out. Is it too late?+
Not necessarily. Separated isn't the same as over, and how you act now matters. Thaw focuses on being calm, reliable and easy to be around, with no pressure on her. It won't promise she'll come back, and if she's asked for no contact, it will help you respect that.
Is it only for men?+
Yes. Thaw is built specifically for men who want to rebuild connection with a wife or girlfriend. Every screen and every piece of advice is written with that in mind.
What if things at home don't feel safe?+
Then Thaw isn't the right tool, and it will tell you so. In the UK, call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247. In the US, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline on 1-800-799-7233. In an emergency, call 999 or 911.
You can't make her try. You can start.
For the one still reaching.
